2008 NIMC issues register

Suggested NIMC changes are sent to local NIMC contacts (PDF 18 KB). If issues cannot be managed locally, they are brought to the NIMC Oversight Committee for consideration.

In 2008 the Commission conducted an NIMC quality improvement project. While change suggestions ordinarily are directed to State and Territory contacts, the project sought suggested changes directly from a large range of NIMC users. The register of collated change suggestions (ZIP 195 KB) is available.

Key issues raised through the 2008 quality improvement process were considered at a meeting of the NIMC Oversight Committee on 3 September 2008. As well as committee members, a large number of NIMC users were invited including doctors, nurses and pharmacists from all States and the ACT as well as metropolitan, rural and remote locations.
