Saffron is a registered nurse with a Graduate Certificate in Sterilisation and Infection Control and has worked in this field since 2001. She is currently Infection Control Coordinator at Calvary Health Care Tasmania (Hobart), is the Secretary of the Tasmanian Infection Control Association and undertakes private Infection Control Consultancy both in Tasmania and NSW.
