After graduating as a registered general and obstetric nurse in Auckland, New Zealand Lorraine migrated to Australia and has worked for more than 20 years in a variety of health care roles including intensive care nursing, community health education, nursing education and infection control.
Lorraine is an executive member of the Victorian Infection Control Professionals Association. She is currently working on a number of infection control related projects for the Statewide Quality Branch of the Victorian government department of human services.
