ACSQHC submission to Improving Maternity Services in Australia

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) is pleased to provide a submission is response to the Discussion paper on Improving Maternity Services in Australia. The ACSQHC submission (PDF 71 KB) describes a key safety concern - maternal referral and transfer – and the solutions being developed by the ACSQHC to address this safety issue.

ACSQHC submission to the NHMRC on Partnership Centres of Research Excellence to Improve Research Knowledge Transfer

The ACSQHC is pleased to respond to the National Health and Medical Research Council’s call for submissions on Partnership Centres of Research Excellence to Improve Research Knowledge Transfer. The ACSQHC submission (PDF 27 KB) describes how effective research knowledge transfer is critical to improving safety and quality.

ACSQHC submission to the NHHRC

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC) is pleased to respond to the call of the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission (NHHRC) for submissions. The ACSQHC Submission to the National Health and Hospitals Reform Commission: including A Safety and Quality Framework for the Future, June 2008 (PDF 250 KB) presents comment on the NHHRC terms of reference, design principles and performance indicators. In addition this submission outlines the ACSQHC's vision for the year 2020, which forms a framework for safety and quality reform in Australia.
