The NSQHS Standards Assessor Orientation Course is freely available for anyone who would like to learn about the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards (second edition). The online course is self-paced and includes learning material such as case studies, videos and tips for using the NSQHS Standards. Eleven modules cover an Introduction to the NSQHS Standards, Assessing Safety and Quality Systems, the Australian Health Service Safety and Quality Accreditation (AHSSQA) Scheme, and each of the eight standards.

Enrolment is now open for the Assessor Orientation Course starting on 3 December 2018. This course will run until 31 May 2019. Enrolment into the course is available until 31 March 2019.
Participants who require a certificate of completion must complete the course by 31 May 2019. If the course is not completed by the completion date, all progress will be lost and a certificate of completion will not be issued. You will need to enrol in the next intake and start the course again.
