EL1 Senior Project Officer, National Standards

The Commission is seeking a non-ongoing Senior Project Officer to be responsible for leading the work on the assigned work plan deliverables and the development of resources as required as well as contributing to broader activities to support the National Standards Program. This will include undertaking research and analysis of information, project management, policy development, stakeholder management, facilitation of meetings, preparation of project documentation and collaborating with other relevant programs within the Commission.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Highly developed research, strategic analysis and interpretation skills
  • Highly developed and excellent project management skills and experience, including a sound ability to manage multiple priorities, recognise common links, identify and manage risks and align key objectives
  • Qualification as a health professional with clinical experience desirable.
  • Experience in analysing evidence and developing conceptual models and approaches to complex problems
  • High quality experience in policy development at a national or state level and preferably within a healthcare context.
