An ongoing EL2 Manager, Intergovernment Relations and Projects the Safety & Quality Improvement Systems & Intergovernmental Relations (SQIS and IGR) team was advertised in the APS gazette on the 30 August 2019.

This position will lead a small team to manage the delivery of the SQIS & IGR team’s program of work with a focus on clinical trials and clinical quality registries. The position will manage a diverse range of high-level SQIS projects including:

  • Clinical quality registries governance and standards
  • Clinical trial governance framework and standards
  • Developing options for aligning standards of public reporting of safety and quality data across public and private hospitals
  • Implementation of the Australian national sentinel events list (version 2).
