New DIAS advisory

The Commission has released a new Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) Advisory.

The advisory outlines the changes to the national diagnostic reference levels (DRL) for multi detector computer tomography (CT).

Medical imaging practices have six months to implement the new DRLs.

On 1 January 2026 accrediting agencies will assess imaging practices based on this advisory.

DIAS requires imaging practices to comply with advisories. Please familiarise yourself with this advisory.
