Description

The scope of this review considered any relevant event or circumstance that could result in unintended or unnecessary clinical harm to a patient as a result of use of the My Health Record system as part of a hospital’s ED workflow. Clinician uses of My Health Record ED considered in scope for this review were: - On a patient’s arrival to ED, access to a Shared Health Summary (SHS) in a patient’s My Health Record - In ED triage, access to the SHS to assist the initial patient assessment, where appropriate.
