This guide aims to provide ED clinicians with essential information about the features and capability of My Health Record.
What is My Health Record?
A My Health Record is an electronic collection of patient health information. A record is available to all Australians registered for Medicare or holding a Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card.
This week’s issue includes items on bias in health care, Clostridium difficile/Clostridioides difficile, the National Hand Hygiene Initiative, dementia, medication reviews, patient and family engagement, intrapartem care, reporting safety concerns, antimicrobial stewardship and more.
Also covered are new issues of the Patient Experience Journal and Health Affairs, along with the latest online papers from BMJ Quality & Safety and the latest from the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
The National Alert System for Critical Antimicrobial Resistances (CARAlert) collects data on nationally agreed priority organisms with critical resistance to last-line antimicrobial agents.
This logo has been developed for World AMR Awareness Week for use for purposes such as branding for resources, social media or email signatures.
