The quality statements for the Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) Prevention Clinical Care Standard were developed in collaboration with the Venous Thromboembolism Prevention Clinical Care Standard Topic Working Group and are based on best available evidence.

The Venous Thromboembolism Prevention Clinical Care Standard poster displays seven evidence-based quality statements to help reduce the risk of blood clots during and following a hospital stay. 

This project investigates the current use and potential benefits of technological solutions to patient misidentification in the Australian healthcare setting and its application to safety and quality to the Commission.
