GP Practice Dashboard – PaRIS Health Survey

This sample dashboard is for GP Practices considering participation in the Patient-Reported Indicator Surveys, known as the PaRIS Health Survey.

Depending on the patient responses for the practice, the dashboard mock-up illustrates the type of practice-level data that participating GP Practices may be able to access if they take part in the OECD initiative.

Description

The Commission is implementing the PaRIS Health Survey in Australia on behalf of the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care.

The survey is gathering practice-level data on the care provided by GP practices, from the perspective of individual patients.

Having practice-level data will enable GP practices to work out how to best service the specific health needs of their patients.

The survey will gather information from patients about their experiences with their general practice, as well as their health outcomes. These include:

  • Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) – which is capturing information on the health outcomes of individuals, and
  • Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs) – which are about the experiences of an individual who is using a health service.
