The intent of this advisory is to ensure that assessors using the National Safety and Quality Standards and specifically Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander actions, receive face-to-face cultural safety training.

Today the Commission releases six new action guides to help service providers understand and implement the Digital Mental Health Standards.

The Commission is pleased to announce three organisations have been approved to conduct accreditation assessments to the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health (NSQDMH) Standards.

To clarify not applicable actions for BreastScreen Australia (BSA) Services implementing the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.

The Commission has released the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards User Guide for Acute and Community Mental Health Services (the user guide). 

The release of the National Safety and Quality Digital Mental Health (NSQDMH) Standards in November 2020 was a significant step in providing safety and quality assurance for digital mental health service users, and best practice guidance for service providers.
