Clinical Care Standards describe the care that people can expect to be offered for a specific clinical condition, treatment, procedure or clinical pathway no matter where they are treated in Australia.
Consultation open: Emergency Laparotomy Clinical Care Standard
The Commission is undertaking consultation on the draft Emergency Laparotomy Clinical Care Standard. The Clinical Care Standard will drive quality improvement in care processes and outcomes for people undergoing emergency laparotomy in Australia.
The consultation will close at 5pm AEDT 14 October 2025.
