This year’s focus is on investing in the systems, people, knowledge and innovations that can prevent infections, detect sepsis earlier, provide timely treatment and help survivors recover.
The Commission’s Sepsis hub supports clinicians and health service organisations to improve early detection, data quality and clinical care. It also provides important information for patients and their families about the signs of sepsis and where to access more information and support.
Visit the Sepsis hub to access our resources, including the recently published report on Keeping Community Strong: Protecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The accompanying scoping literature review, Experience of sepsis among First Nations peoples, is also available on the hub.
