This policy is to ensure that the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) complies with statutory obligations relating to disclosure of interests under the Commonwealth legislation by appropriately disclosing any material personal interests in a prescribed way.

The Commission has established its policy and procedures for dealing with Public Interest Disclosures.

Senate Order 13 (SO13), known as Murray Motion, requires that, twice a year, Commonwealth entities publish details of individual contracts with a total value of $100,000 (GST inclusive) or more, which meets specific date requirements (during the reporting period).
