National Safety and Quality Assisted Reproductive Technology Service Standards Consultation

Public consultation now open

We are seeking feedback on the initial draft of the National Safety and Quality Assisted Reproductive Technology Service Standards, including whether they:

  • reflect key safety and quality priorities
  • clearly describe expectations for assisted reproductive technology (ART) providers
  • support the delivery of high-quality care
  • are clear, easy to understand and free from unnecessary duplication
  • adequately cover safety and quality concerns in ART.

We encourage you to review the consultation draft of the ART Standards before providing feedback.

The consultation is open from Monday 10 August until Sunday 6 September 2026.
