Pathology Remote Working Survey

We are seeking your feedback to better understand how the pathology sector experiences remote working. This includes your views on governance, supervision, and any safety and quality risks.

Remote working means pathologists or other laboratory staff working away from the laboratory during operational hours, or completely outside normal operational hours. Remote working may include reporting from a home or office site, or a different laboratory.

Under current legislation, all pathology services, including reporting, must be undertaken in an accredited pathology laboratory.

Have your say

Your feedback will help guide the development of a remote working framework that supports safe, high-quality pathology services while meeting existing regulations.
