The updated Standard will be renamed the Requirements for Haemopoietic Cellular Therapy (seventh edition) (the HCT Standard).
You are invited to review the updated Standard and provide feedback.
The revision of the HCT Standard reflects emerging cellular therapies, aligns with the Ninth Edition 2025 international FACT–JACIE Standard, and reduces duplication with existing Australian requirements.
The HCT Standard applies to services involved in donor selection, collection, processing, storage, issue or disposal of cellular therapy products.
You can contribute feedback via our online survey or written submission, closing on 12 August 2026, or you can participate in an online focus group on 18 or 20 August 2026.
