The Commission is proposing changes to the accreditation of medical imaging practices. The Australian Safety and Quality Medical Imaging Accreditation (ASQMIA) Scheme proposal describes the accreditation framework components, including cycle length, types of assessment notification, the assessment cycle, assessment methodology and its application to different kinds of imaging practices.
