NSQHS Standards Guide for small hospitals
The purpose of this guide is to assist health service organisations to align their patient safety and quality improvement programs using the framework of the NSQHS Standards (second edition).
Small hospitals typically have fewer than 50 beds, provide many different services and are geographically isolated from larger hospitals. This guide includes examples of suggested reflective questions, strategies for improvement and resources that multi-purpose services and small hospitals can use to implement the NSQHS Standards.
