Requirements for Information Communication and Reporting (sixth edition, 2026)
This amendment to the Requirements for Information Communication and Reporting (sixth edition, 2026) will replace the fifth edition to support the use of modern messaging and interoperability standards including HL7FHIR from 13 July 2026.
This document addresses communication of pathology information between pathology laboratories, requesters, consumers and other parties. The Requirements for Information Communication and Reporting (sixth edition, 2026) is a Tier 3B NPAAC document and must be read in conjunction with the Tier 2 document.
