Transitioning from AS/NZS 4815:2006 to AS 5369:2023
This resource will assist healthcare services to implement the new requirements of AS 5369:2023 Reprocessing of reusable medical devices and other devices in health and non-health related facilities.
Healthcare services that perform complex cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation processes (such as for anaesthetic equipment and endoscopy equipment) and processes involving low temperature sterilising systems should refer to Transitioning from AS/NZS 4187:2014 to AS 5369:2023 for information on changes and implementation strategies.
