Consultation with stakeholders is underway. Stakeholder engagement and advice to the project is led by Dr Peggy Brown AO, Senior Clinical Advisor.
There are three avenues of consultation, including face-to-face workshops, online sessions and an online written survey, which will explore options for certification and national standards to ensure safety and quality assurance for digital mental health services.

The Commission has developed a discussion paper which includes background information and questions that will be explored during the consultations. If you are planning to participate in the consultation workshops, or to complete the written survey, this discussion paper will provide guidance.
There is an online survey for stakeholders who are unable to attend one of the face-to-face and online workshops.
This survey covers many of the questions that are being explored during the workshops. We encourage you to download and refer to the consultation discussion paper when completing the survey.
As the number of participants places in the face-to-face workshops and the online sessions is limited, the Commission will manage the attendee lists to optimise the diversity of stakeholders at each consultation event.
Stakeholders can register for any of the workshops or sessions below by contacting the project team on DMHS@safetyandquality.gov.au. Please include your preferred format (face-to-face or online), date and time.
Face-to-face (half-day workshops):
Lunch and refreshments will be provided at each of the face-to-face workshops.
Online sessions will be provided via videoconference and Slido. Participation will require access to a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Mental health consumer and carer representatives wishing to participate anonymously in an online session should inform the project team prior to the session.

Further information will be provided to you in the near future in relation to the online written survey. Participation through the survey will be available to any interested individual or organisation across Australia.
This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. The Commission will report to the Department in June 2019.
